The Place For Coaching
Most of us are always chasing something that always seems just out of our reach. We are inundated by advice – everybody around us – friends, family, bosses, co-workers, “experts” of various ilk – all seem to know what is best for us. In fact, everybody except yourself is an expert in you. Could this be any more counter-intuitive?
Enter coaching. Rather than tell you what you need to do, coaching draws upon the wisdom that is already within you. You may not be consciously aware of it, but you know what is true for you. A coach is your partner and champion on the journey to discovering this truth.
We are surrounded by people who, with the best of intentions, facilitate our excuses and encourage the stories that we tell ourselves. Sometimes we need somebody that can hold us accountable, challenge us, and open up a space where we can fail safely. Somebody who will speak to us candidly – with compassion, but without sugar coating. And this is palatable because this person believes in us completely and will accept nothing but the absolute best for us. That someone is your coach.
